Duo Multicorde
guitar and harp

Duo Multicorde is a rising ensemble that was formed during its studies at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. The duo received chamber music coaching from the renowned Prof. Stephen Fitzpatrick, principal harpist of the Staatskapelle Berlin.

Chilean guitarist Andrés Madariaga studied under Marco Tamayo at the Mozarteum Salzburg and has won over 30 prizes in international competitions. As a highly sought-after soloist, he has performed worldwide and established an outstanding reputation.

Thanks to a generous scholarship from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, the duo released its debut CD, ¡Viva la danza!, in 2022. They are now signed with Etymology Classics and recorded a new EP at the label’s New York studio in the summer of 2023. The recording is available on all major streaming platforms.

Since its founding, Duo Multicorde has captivated audiences with performances across Germany and internationally, including in Madrid, Bangkok, and Tokyo. In 2025, they are set to perform at the Purbeck Guitar Festival in southern England and Expo 2025 in Osaka.

In addition to their concert activities, the duo arranges works for harp and guitar, making unique repertoire accessible to musicians worldwide. You can find and purchase their arrangements ➜ here
